WHAT IS PAY PER CLICK ?

Pay-per-click (PPC), is an internet advertising model used to drive traffic to websites, in which an advertiser pays
a publisher (typically a search engine, website owner, or a network of websites) when the ad is clicked.

Pay-per-click is commonly associated with first-tier search engines (such as Google Ads, Amazon Advertising and Microsoft Advertising formerly Bing Ads). With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. In contrast, content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. PPC "display" advertisements,also known as "banner" ads, are shown on web sites with related content that have agreed to show ads and are typically not pay-per-click advertising. Social networks such as Facebook, Linkedin, Pinterest and Twitter have also adopted pay-per-click as one of their advertising models.

How does Pay Per Click PPC work?

Google Ads, AKA Google AdWords, is Google’s advertising system in which advertisers bid on
certain keywords in order for their clickable ads to appear in Google’s search results

As their name implies, keywords are key words or phrases that users enter into Google

Please NOTE the price of keyword is determined by the number of users that use that word when searching online. The more a Keyword is used, the more it costs. 

When you select a Keyword, whenever that word or a phrase containing that keyword and the Ad is clicked. Google will charge you the value of the bid. Example, if your keyword bid is $0,20 and it is clicked 15 times, this means you will have to pay an invoice of $3.00 to Google Adwords
